Drake's Brewing IPA
Drake's Brewing IPA. 7.0% abv. 65 IBU. Copper honey color. Thick head that falls to a scattered surfacing with plenty of lace. Good retention. Aromas of caramel and abundant hops. First taste of mildly sweet caramel, floral hops, citrus rind. Medium body. Mouthfeel is medium, warm. Aftertaste is clean and present, mildly hoppy, but less than the aroma suggests. Nice bitter balance. I generally want more hop bite in an IPA, but this is an otherwise excellent brew.
