Huyghe Delirium Tremens
Huyghe Delirium Tremens Belgian Ale. 8.5% abv. 40 IBU. Clear golden color. Bright nose of sweet floral hops with notes of spice. Thick bubbly head that remains a long while with little lacing. Sweet malt taste. Thin body. Mouthfeel is warm-hot, soft, effervescent. Light bready aftertaste with lingering faint hops. A modern classic Belgian ale.
From the brewery:
"Colour and sight: pale blond, the fine and regular effervesce ensures a fine and stable head. Scent: Slightly malty, a nice touch of alcohol, spicy. Flavour: Feels like the sound shot of alcohol is igniting the mouth. In reality the tongue and palate are warmed. The taste is characterized by its roundness. The aftertaste is strong, long-lasting and dry bitter." (Huyghe Family Brewery)
